I flew to Tasmania last weekend with a group of friends to see the exhibition and I have been feeling super inspired all week. I'm blessed, I travel a whole heap and see amazing things and this is right up there. I’m so happy that it is in Australia because think the collection and the museum are world class. It was actually a super cool thing to do for the weekend and Hobart has amazing food and wineries too!
There were so many amazing pieces of art, there were antiquities from all over the world including sarcophagi and traditional African headdresses. One of my favorite pieces was a huge, chrome, circular scaffold that had motion detectors. When you went In the middle of the circle the piece made sounds and lights that matched your movements. You could play music with movement, so cool!
There was no magic handstand exercise or secret trick stretch that did it. Just regular practice where I got better and better incrementally. I was an elite gymnast as a kid so until a few months ago I would get up on my hands for a while but I couldn’t maintain my balance or hold a really beautiful line my gymnastics background actually meant that i could fake it but....It was ugly.
Daily practice.
That's why I designed my posing series it’s to help you become a champion by making sure each and every practice is perfect. That way when you get to competition your performance is perfect and as effortless as my handstand in The MONA.
