It's a common misconception that in order to be successful,
you have to be disciplined and rigid.
But what if the key was actually to be playful and soft?
Think about it – when you were a child,
you weren't afraid to try new things or experiment.
You were constantly learning and growing,
and making mistakes along the way.
But as we get older, we often start to become more afraid
of trying something new, or just going for it.
The truth is, if you want to be successful on your journey,
you need to find a balance between discipline and playfulness.
too much of either one can lead to problems.
Especially when you’re on a fitness journey.
Most girls we speak to get on this journey
because they have a vision of being vibrant,
energetic and the life of the party.
They want to feel good in their clothes,
have more energy to play with their kids
and just feel better about themselves overall.
The problem is that many of these women get derailed
because they think the only way to make progress
is through intense discipline – no cheat meals, no missed workouts, etc.
But what they don't realize is that
This approach is not sustainable in the long-term.
Yes, discipline is important – but if you're too rigid,
you're going to burn out eventually.
And when you do, it's going to be that much harder to get back on track.
So what's the solution? Focus on the process.
Find a way to enjoy the process – even when it's tough.
Make sure you're taking care of yourself mentally and emotionally as well as physically.
And don't be too hard on yourself if you need a break every once in a while.
That’s why we created The Sports Model Project.
To show you the process and help you find that balance - as it’s not the easiest thing to see for yourself.
