Every competition athlete will find at some point in their prep they need to focus on glutes.
Trainers are commonly asked by their clients how they can improve their booty.
On the surface it seems simple. Dive a little deeper, and you find the glutes can be a tricky area to develop.
The challenge is HOW you approach this is very different from client to client.
It's frustrating - both for competitors AND coaches.
You program squats and deadlifts like a beast - all of which SHOULD work. But you’re still not seeing the transformation in your client. You know theyre doing everything else right.
So you try frog pumps and hip thrusts… but still…. nada.
The real challenge is that every girl responds differently. Just because an exercise WORKS the glutes doesn’t mean it will help GROW the glutes.
Body shapes are different. Anatomy is different. These are all things that need to be considered for glute development.
It seems obvious, but the training you need to prescribe is different. You can’t just template your way around glutes and hope for the best.
You can’t just copy your favorite instagram model (me… right?) and hope that it will work for your clients too.
So Bret Contreras (The Glute Guy) and I have decided to get together and run a very exclusive live event in Sydney. It’s for competition athletes and trainers who coach competition athletes to get their head around training for glute development..
